Trace a Relative

Are you looking for a relative or a member of the regiment?

The Inniskillings Museum is prepared to carry out research on any aspect of the history of the regiment or individuals who served. Like other regimental museums, we do not hold soldiers’ service records, but we do hold quite a lot of information.

Please read our Trace a Relative user guide here

Unfortunately we are unable to carry out research on those who served in the 5th Royal Inniskilling Dragoon Guards. For these enquiries please contact rdgmuseum.org.uk.

If you wish to find out about someone who you think was in the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers before 1920 please enter the surname of the person you wish to find in the box below and click “Search” then follow the on screen instructions if you wish to place an order.

Each order will incur a £28 administration charge (donation to the museum). Please pay this charge through Paypal after submitting your order.

Please note that due to the unprecedented volume of research requests now being received, research orders are taking at least 8 months to complete. We are taking measures to improve our response time and to deal with the backlog of orders.

Service records for soldiers who served after 1920 are held by the Ministry of Defence. Please click on the following link to go to the relevant page of the Veterans UK website.
